The car is brilliant. Very relaxed drive. Neal Gregson was pleasant, very professional, extremely polite, gave me the utmost courtesy. Has great pride in Northstar. I couldn't fault anything he said or did. He was very upfront and honest. For a bloke so young he gave the impression he was 26/27 years old. He is a valuable asset to Northstar. On delivery Andrew Monahan was very similar as well. Drove to Bundaberg this morning and I love it.

At the end of the day, I would have been happy to have bought either the Golf or 130 because I found them both to be very good cars. However our dealings with you were what ultimately allowed us to choose the Golf. Additionally, your work friends are also very easy to deal with. Bob, John Firstly, I would like to say thank you for doing all you could to assist with resolving this issue, although at times i wasnt sure we would ever get there. After nearly a year of this ongoing saga and one month before we are to leave Brisbane I can honestly tell you how relieved I am to be able to write you a "lovely - happy customer email" rather than the customer from hell emails you have previously had to deal with. Secondly, I think you ought to thank the one person who I feel is responsible for finally resolving the problem - Mark Swift. Mark was the mechanic/technician that I dealt with today. When I realised they had left the deflector on the front - things were about to turn pear shaped again. But, Mark came out to see me in the office when I asked to find out what work was actually done and to make sure that it was in fact better before I drove away unhappy again. His amazing customer service skills, empathy and product knowledge was far superior to ANY staff I have ever dealt with during this year of hell. Mark really listened to me, came for a drive and realised that I really did make sense when I said the deflector is the problem. He didnt promise anything that he didnt deliver on. He agreed with me re the deflector and decided to take it off and trial it again. When he did he heard the horrendous whistle that was my orginal complaint & then somehow tweaked a few things in the roof and VIOLA and it was fixed!!! We went for a final drive and when the roof was down and at speed and no whistling. We went to 110km with the roof open and there was minimal wind noise - bit more than before - but hey I am very happy that there was none of the wind thumping like you had a window down racket. So I dont know what he did - but after having the car for 2 days, Mark sorted the issue whilst I waited there for a few hours. But thats all good cause I drove Jerry Jeep home roof down and I can honestly say that I feel I have got my JERRY JEEP pretty much back to how we bought him. So FINALLY - THANK YOU. So lets hope you never hear from me again. Thanks

"I bought my car from Austral and for servicing I found them to be snobby and incredibly rude, so I went to Maroochydore and whether it was the case or not I got the impression that they were very slack. I was looking in the phone book and was considering going as far as Ipswich when I came across Northstar. I didn't know you guys existed. It has been a breath of fresh air. Amanda and Giles treated me beautifully and with respect. Even though my car wasn't ready until 5pm when it was supposed to be around lunch time they kept me up to date which was helpful to plan my day. They passed my test and I'll definately be back."
